Hi, Gin. Although there is some evidence that honey is antibacterial it is not the antibacterial your acne needs. Honey was found to reduce the number of staph. aureus but not the acne bacteria (p.acnes) . There is also no real evidence that honey helps active acne or acne scars in any significant measurable way. In conclusion with medically proven ingredients you have a higher chance to control your acne than with honey.
