How long can I use benzoyl peroxide? Is it harmful to use it too long?

Hi, Gunnar. Benzoyl peroxide (BP) is the best single topical anti-acne ingredient. It is on the top recommended treatment list of Dermatologists and part of the acne treatment guidelines of the American Academy of Dermatologists. There are no known long-term side effects for the use of BP for acne. Thus, there is actually no limit to its use. People have used it safely for years. 🙂
