The paleo diet (also referred to as the “caveman regimen”) can actually work quite well for people with acne-prone skin as it matches most of the current dietary recommendations for this population. The protocol calls for eliminating sugar, white flour, and other high-glycemic foods as well as dairy, which are all known triggers for acne. Just remember to drink lots of water as well!
