Are there any recommendations for an exfoliating cleanser?

Exfoliating cleansers and rotating electrical brushes are NOT a good idea for people with active acne. They over irritate the skin and can cause more breakouts. When the skin is red, you need it to calm it down and not increase irritation. I would suggest that you use only your MDacne products. If used properly, these will reduce your active acne and prevent future breakouts. Once you go into maintenance mode, and have less active pimples you may consider using a mild exfoliator once a week to help renew your skin.
